A warm welcome to the web site. I have been a compulsive 'maker' ever since I can remember! I love to create all kinds of decorative objects with textured and embellished surfaces, using silk fibres, textiles, paint, threads, paper and clay.

I set up Jazz Design in 1999, when I began creating embroidery and tapestry kits, many of which have appeared as readers' projects in magazines, here and in the USA. You can find these in the 'Kits' section of the Shop.

Items for sale in the Vessels and Miniatures sections of the shop include bowls, platters, and pictures. These pieces are unique 'one-off' works. I will also be happy to discuss individual commissions. Please click 'Contact me' and email any questions or suggestions.

I can also create cross stitch or needlepoint tapestry charts from your own photographs. Please email me if you would like to discuss a project.
